If you have web site design skills, the standard or advanced package is likely to be all you require. From here, you can install Joomla and a wide range of other software to suit your needs. However, for many people, overcoming the initial technical demands can act as an obstacle.

To address this, we have created the following options.

Joomla Content Management System

Option 1 - £45. For those that want an easy to use website, LeftSpace recommend using the award winning Joomla Content Management System (CMS).

LeftSpace can install a fully working Joomla Template, with your contact details and logo included. Take a look at our Website Template. LeftSpace will replace all the sections, categories and pictures you can see with content supplied by yourselves. This will allow you to easily add content by copying and pasting content.

LeftSpace have produced a range of tutorial videos on various aspects of using Joomla and these are available to all groups who take out a Hosting package. One of the many advantages that Joomla allows is the addition of special extensions to facilitate the running of shops, discussion forums, mailing lists, daily backups, and much more.

Option 2: For those organisations that require a more ambitious individually professionally designed website, with discussion forums, shop-front, photo presentation galleries, video hosting, secure networks, membership databases, daily backups, virus protection and much more, then contact us. These sites can be designed around your organisations specific needs. After discussion, we will provide a quote and timescale of implementation. Prices range from £200 - £500 depending on complexity.

Please note: All installed software should be kept up-to-date for security reasons. Customers who install their own software are responsible for maintaining updates. Security updates are important to ensure the stability of your web site. Annual security updates for each add-on installed by LeftSpace can be purchased at just £10 each.

LeftSpace recommend the free open source software called Joomla. Using this system is easy, and you can of course install extensions yourself. For those with no idea how to proceed, we have created these additional add-on services.

Of course, the standard website we can create allows pictures, video etc. However, if you have a large number of photos then they can be best shown in a gallery. We can install a Flash-based tool which allows you to create eye-catching slide shows of your pictures on the web.

Backup your website.

What would happen if you accidentally wiped your website? Don�t worry, it�s not that easy to do it accidentally. However, for peace of mind, LeftSpace can install back-up software to back-up your website and have it sent to you by email on a daily / weekly basis.

JoomlaCloner is a Backup and Restore component designed for Joomla! JoomlaCloner Generate, Move and Restore process:

1. Generate and Store the backup
2. Move the backup and restore script to the new location
3. Restore the backup by launching the Joomla.Cloner.php restore script
